IntroductionWelcome to the website of Kelvin R. Nettleship piano tuner & repairer. Over the past twenty five years I have learnt that besides having their pianos tuned, some people want more information about piano related items. For example, I am often asked where to get a good second hand piano, so I have included a for sale and wants page. All the pianos included on this page are pianos I have tuned, or have been to see personally. When buying one of these instruments you are dealing directly with the seller, although, I will offer advice if needed. If you have a piano to sell which I have tuned, you can advertise it on this site. Now having bought your piano your next thought is how to move it. Personally I would not advise trying this yourself; I would recommend using a company who have experience moving pianos. With this in mind I have included a specialist company. I have used these transporters to move pianos for me. With your piano now in your home and tuned you might consider having lessons. The question I get asked most often is where can I find a piano teacher? So I have included a selection of piano teachers all of which I tune for and know personally. If you already own a piano, it plays alright, but the casework is not what it once was it might be an idea to get it repolished. Therefore I have included a company that restore piano cases. There again this company have restored pianos for me in the past. Lastly some people may be interested in piano recitals; we have visiting concert pianists coming to this area on a regular basis. So I have included a monthly diary of up and coming events. I hope you find these web pages interesting and visit again in the future. Kelvin R. Nettleship |
