I am a professional piano tuner and restorer based in Tyne & Wear. Having nearly 25 years experience I combine everything from tuning to complete restorations.

As well as tuning privately I also undertake contract work. At this present time I am principle tuner for North Tyneside schools which I have had for the last twenty years. Dance City a dance studio in Newcastle, Master Musicians which promote classical piano recitals throughout the north east. Northern music centre a music school based in Heaton. And Ushaw College on the outskirts of Durham.

I also undertake theatre work. I am currently the tuner for the Customs House South Shields, the Live Theatre Newcastle, the Peoples Theatre Heaton, the Theatre Royal Newcastle, the Whitley Bay Playhouse and the Saville Exchange North Shields, tuning for their jazz concerts as well as their classical concerts. In addition to this I have also tuned pianos at Newcastle City Hall, Gala Theatre Durham, Gulbenkian Theatre, Little Theatre, Live Theatre, the Maltings Berwick, Newcastle Opera House, Priory Theatre, the Sunderland Empire, and Newcastle University.

I have also had experience of recording work looking after the piano on Eight Classical piano solo cd's for the Divine Art record company and Master Musicians.
